Auction calendar

The fortnight, and the September round

Every hammer is a finance event. Only Auction House trades inside 1–14 August; the season proper resumes in September — catalogues land from 19 August.

What the engine saw this week

Every number computed from live pulls made 31 July 2026 — the query behind each figure is stated. Signals 1–3 (charges, satisfactions, fresh SPVs) switch on with your Companies House key.

Conversion

Does each source turn into money?

Live from the SQLite store. This funnel is what decides whether a source keeps its place — volume without conversion means the scoring is wrong and we change it. No outreach has been sent yet, so it's honestly all at "surfaced"; it fills as leads are worked and marked contacted → replied → quoted → won.

The data sources

Source status & the three corrections

Verified against the live services on 31 July 2026. Two documented assumptions in the master brief needed correcting — flagged amber below, full detail in the Phase 0 brief.

companies_houselive

REST + streaming hosts verified live (auth-gated). 600 req/5 min. Charges, filings, officers, advanced SIC search, charge streams with timepoint resume. Public-site enrichment already working — it powered today's charge joins.

You: developer account → live application → REST key + Stream key, pasted into chat.
gazettelive

JSON notice feeds verified with codes 2450 / 2452 / 2410 / 2454 / 2421 / 2423. Notice-level JSON carries company numbers, courts, hearing dates, appointees. Fair-use: narrow daily windows.

planitlive

applics API verified: state/size/type filters, decided-date windows, 300/page. Applicant fields often say "See source" — real contacts come from the council portal's decision notice, linked on every lead.

auctionlive

Five houses surveyed. Auction House fully parseable including a live unsold list; Savills server-rendered; Allsop / Barnard Marcus / Bond Wolfe partly JS-walled (noted per house). EIG stays the licensed upgrade.

Check: Allsop's next residential sale shows both 20 and 30 Aug on different pages — verify before anything references it.
caseboardpending account

Tiers verified: free = unlimited search + 15 followed cases + daily alerts. Terms of use ban automated access — manual in-app only, which suits the design.

You: create the free account. Followed terms turned out to be Pro-only (£30/mo) — start free, I run the 15-term search list weekly by hand.
hm_land_registrylive

CCOD verified: monthly, carries company numbers — but the licence bars use "for the purposes of direct marketing including… contacting registered proprietors."

Adopted design-around: property confirmation via charge-register particulars instead — already proven on three of today's Gazette leads. CCOD, if registered, stays internal-analytics only.
Correction 1 — caseboard followed terms are not free-tier. Free covers search, 15 followed cases, daily alerts; the term watchlist runs manually until Pro earns its £30/mo.
Correction 2 — the Land Registry CCOD join can't lawfully trigger outreach. The charge register replaces it as the property-confirmation route; sheet unaffected.
Correction 3 — a property-smelling name is not a property company: PENNY LAND LTD wholesales meat and soft drinks. Every Gazette candidate now gets a SIC check before it may be scored.
